This is the part of the I Am An Article series when it gets a little…different.
Different is good if it’s something most people aren’t or won’t do that actually works to boot.
Well, here goes: Give your articles a home of their own.
Put them on their very own website with its own unique domain name such as “ArticlesByJoeSchmo.com”.
After all, when you get a few out there and people start reading (and liking) them, they’ll look for them again. They may remember your name better than the name of the directory where they saw it, so they type in “articles by joe schmo” in the Google search bar.
You can get a HostGator hosting account for one cent for the first month (see sidebar) and grab your domain name at GoDaddy for less than 10 bucks US a year.
Well, waddaya know…look at what’s the first result! Your ArticlesByJoeSchmo.com site!
Why stop at putting just your written articles there? Categorize them by format and put every version you create there – PDFs, videos, Powerpoint, widgets, etc.
It’d be the one-stop shop for all your articles of all kinds and folks can choose whichever format they prefer.
Think they MIGHT remember you then?!?

My first thought to this was one more thing to manage! But it does have a nice ring to it and it would make a really easy catch all to look up, tweak etc any article, especially if you have a few niches.
Could the same thing be done as a category on a blog do you think?

Sure, why not?
That’s what I’m doing here.
The point is, getting your content in front of different people in different formats in different places.
Sorry, scratch that. The REAL point is to do all that and have fun with it!
