Promote ANYTHING Online

There’s loads of services available to help in your online promotional efforts: wesite hosting, autoresponders, website builders, etc., etc.

I highly recommend the ones I use, not for their features (others also have them), their innovations (gotta do that to survive) or even their price structure.

I do so for one main reason.

Customer support.

If a service of any kind that you’re using to automate your efforts to improve your personal efficiency does not provide absolutely excellent top notch customer support, ditch ‘em and get another that does.

Your motivation for paying for their services is to lessen your workload and make doing what you need to do easier and less time consuming. You definitely don’t hand over your money to both increase your stress level and decrease your available work time.

Personally speaking, I’m no techie. I expect my web hosting company to be willing, ready and able to help with anything related to my site…today. I once had a web hosting company that I discovered had only email customer support, based on the other side of the world. If my issue arose in the middle of the night, I had a chance of reaching someone for help. During the day, I was out of luck and had to wait a full day just for a response!

Look for forum, online chat and, if possible, telephone support options from the services you choose. Lengthy delays put you behind schedule and affects your business’ progress.

As examples, here’s a few of my faves:

Host Gator (web hosting) – fantastic phone and online chat support. I’ve never had a problem they didn’t address quickly and directly.

Aweber (autoresponder) – Good online chat support, limited phone support. their support is a big part of why they’re a top choice in the online business community.

XSitePro (website builder) – Super responsive forum support, moderated by expert users. Sure, it’s a great product, but good would it really be without good customer support?

Good reputations come from fantastic service. Demand no less from the services you use to help you establish yours.
